Julius Caesar was the ruler of Rome in 49 B.C. On his triumphant return to Rome, Caesar was stopped by a group of gypsies including Tanya, her ancestor Madame Why and the Ghostbusters, who had travelled back in time. Tanya came to warn Caesar not to cross the old bridge that night. But Caesar did not trust fortune tellers and had all of them arrested.
That night, Tanya's prediction came true and the bridge collapsed and fell into the river before Caesar crossed it. Thankful, Caesar released Tanya and the others from prison and presented Tanya with a Gold Wreath with magic powers that Cleopatra of Egypt had given to him.
Tanya soon lost posession of the wreath thanks to interference by Brat-A-Rat and Scared Stiff and had to win a chariot race at Circus Maximus. When they did, it was Caesar who presented the wreath to her for a second time.
