The Crookcopter was the Phantom's getaway vehicle parked on the top of his skyscraper headquarters. When Phantom, Benny and Clyde attempted to flee using the Crookcopter, Tracy the Gorilla ensnared the vehicle using the Spectre Snare and Jake Kong Jr. used the Ghost Dematerializer to send the copter and all it's inhabitants to the other dimension. Since the Dematerializer only works on ghosts, the Crookcopter must be some kind of apparition itself.
