The Crusader was a Starbase manned by Doctor Morrow and controlled by a Master Computer in the year 2960. The Crusader's primary function was to protect Earth from the criminal Cyman's meteor attacks.
When Cyman's accomplice Spectre infiltrated Master Computer and made it malfunction, Doctor Morrow's sister Futura called in help from the Ghostbusters from the Earth's past to help out.
