The Golem Soldiers lived deep inside the Earth's core in CoreWorld but because of the Core sun, they were forced to live their lifes as inanimate stones. Then Prime Evil came to CoreWorld and extinguished the Core-Sun with the wave of a dark jewel. This caused the Rock Golem to awaken from their stone form and capture all of Rexacore's people.
The only free core-dwellers left were Rexacor and his daughter Corrine. When Rexacore attempted to rescue his people, the Golem Soldiers were quick to subdue him with their sucker-lances. However, Futura and the Ghostbusters came to Rexacore's aid. It turned out the Golem reacted in the same fashion as ghost did to being hit by the Ghost Dematerializer.
After several battles, managed to defeat the Golem and restore the Core-Sun. All the Golem were turned back to stone except for the Golem General, who managed to escape thanks to his pet spider.
