Captain Long John Scarechrome, sailor of the Seven Galaxies, was a technologically themed undead pirate from the future. He had many weapons in his peg leg and uses a gun called a Freeze Glock. He also had his own pirate ship called the Ghost Galleon.

Captain Long John Scarechrome had purple skin and wore a patch over his right eye, a hook for his left hand and walked with a cane. He followed the recurring technological visual theme established by most of Prime Evil's minions.

If his face is any indication Long John's physical nature is that of the undead. "Scarechrome" is a portmanteu of the words "Scarecrow" and "Chrome" due to the recurring futuristic element that permeates the visual appearance of most of the show's antagonists,
