The Spell Sceptre was a large magic staff which originated in Fairytale Land and was used by the whicked Gimghoul. He used the Sceptre to cast a spell on Prince Delwin and turn him into a troll.
During a confrontation with the Ghostbusters at Durham Castle, Gimghoul knocked the Ghost Dematerializer out of Jake Kong Jr.'s hands with a blast from the Spell Sceptre. It wasn't until Delwin the Troll managed to knock the Spell Sceptre out of Gimghoul's hands that the Ghostbusters were able to defeat Gimghoul.
