The Rabbit was a criminal employed by the Fat Man. He could usually be played following his master in either the old castle or the nearby graveyard. Fat Man used a crystal ball to conjure up the ghost of Big Al, an underworld boss who was famous forty years earlier. They needed his talent to get the Maltese Monkey.
Although some believed the priceless treasue of the Maltese government had been mising for years, Fat Man and The Rabbit had located it locked in a vault at the County Musuem. The curators planned to return The Maltese Monkey to it's rightful owners, so the gangsters were in a hurry.
Big Al wanted to call in the help of two of his deceased 'gorilla's' from the past and volunteered to fetch the crystal ball as he needed to stretch his legs. Also on the scene were the Ghost Busters, one of whom, Spenser, happened to be an exact double of Big Al, not only in appearance but also in sense of clothing. Spenser attempted to switch the Crytsal ball for a bowling ball while his partners Kong and Tracy posed as Big Al's 'gorilla's'. The real Big al decided on the spot that he could get rid of his lookalike and use Kong and Tracy to do the heist.
After the succesful heist, Al bumped into Spenser at The Fatman's castle hideway, Tracy and Kong managed to get his hand on the Maltese Monkey and a wild chase through the castle halls ensued. Fat man & The Rabbit were both knocked out by the Ghost Busters' bowling ball and Big All was sent back to the netherworld with the Ghost Dematerializer. The Maltese Monkey was returned to the Maltese government and the Fat Man & the Rabbit were arrested.
