The Red Baron appeared in the episode Only Ghosts Have Wings.
The ghost of the Red Baron and his mechanic Sparks returned to the land of the living intend to continue his aerial dogfights against Lord Smedley Hardgrove and his 'Grease monkey' Tracy Holmes-Harrington. They took up residence in the old castle, or as the Baron referred to it, the 'Aerodrome' to fix their invisible plane. The Baron instructed Sparks to take surveilance pictures of the entire area. Sparks would communicate by radio using the codename 'Red Hen' and the Baron replied using the codeaname 'Eagle'.
When the Ghost Busters were instruced by Zero to get rid of the Baron and Sparkie, Spenser posed as Smedley, based on James Mason's portrayal of the Lord in his all time favorite move Wings over Hoboken. Tracy the Gorilla pretended to be Tracy Holmes-Harrington.
The Baron and Sparks managed to escape the castle in their invisible plane, but eventually they were forced to land thanks to a thick fog. The Ghost Busters eventually caught up with them in the nearby cemetery and dematerialized the pair of them.
